Job Description
- Set up, adjust, operate, and shut down converting machinery in accordance with production requirements and standard operating procedures
- Read and interpret production orders, job specifications, machine settings, and work instructions
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support operational efficiency objectives
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality, efficiency, and output
- Complete machine changeovers, tooling changes, and machine setups within required timeframes
- Conduct first-off approvals and ongoing quality checks to ensure products meet specifications Identify machine faults, product defects, or process abnormalities and take corrective action or escalate issues as required
- Perform routine operator maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting to maximize machine reliability
- Complete production records, downtime reporting, and machine documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain machinery, tooling, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
- Coordinate and support Machine Assistants, providing guidance and promoting safe work practices
- Follow all workplace health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Must have Valid drivers license
- Must have Experience with machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and product quality control
- Has IELTS or is able to pass the IELTS exam after short-term tutoring.
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment
