Job Description
- Prepare structural calculations, engineering designs and technical assessments.
- Design structural steel, reinforced concrete and associated structural systems.
- Undertake structural analysis and engineering calculations for a variety of projects.
- Review engineering designs to ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.
- Develop practical, safe and cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Review structural drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
- Assess constructability, buildability and engineering risks.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), technical queries and design clarifications.
- Prepare engineering reports, technical assessments, calculations and certification documentation.
- Maintain engineering documentation, technical records and design registers.
- Review structural steel fabrication drawings.
- Design and review temporary works solutions. • Temporary works • Crane lift plans • Lifting operations • Temporary bracing • Propping systems • Erection sequencing
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Civil) or similar fields.
- Must have Extensive experience in structural steel design.
- Must have Experience in reinforced oncrete design.
- Must have Experience undertaking structural analysis and engineering calculations.
- Must have Experience reviewing structural drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
- Must have Experience preparing engineering reports, technical assessments and certification documentation.
- Must have Experience supporting commercial, industrial, institutional and infrastructure projects.
- Must have Experience reviewing structural steel fabrication drawings.
- Must have Experience providing engineering advice for temporary works, crane lift plans lifting operations, temporary bracing, propping systems and erection sequencing.
- Must have Valid drivers license
