Job Description
- Managing helpers and AGL Technicians
- Reporting to Engineer on daily activities.
- Airfield Light control & Monitoring system (ALCMS) works for Airport Runways and Taxiways.
- Laying and Replacement of primary cable and Secondary cables, Repairing of CCR, Trouble shooting of Earth fault and Open circuit fault, Field inspection for serviceability check.
- Operates and performs preventive maintenance on expeditionary airfield systems.
- Installs and performs preventive maintenance on the CCR's (Constant Current Regulator)
- Installs and performs preventive maintenance on different types of the AFL Fixtures (TCL, TDZ, PAPI, Blue Edge Lights, etc.)
- Follows published safety regulations relative to working near and on a runway and know the hazardous zones.
- Utilizes visual hard and light signals required in recovery operations.
- Maintains tools, instruments, and test equipment.
- Able to use the measurement tools such as multimeter & Insulation Tester
- Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
- Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
