Job Description
- Equipment Operation: Safely drive and maneuver heavy equipment in both surface pits and underground tunnels to extract and move minerals.
- Safety & Inspections: Conduct exhaustive walk-around inspections before and after every shift to ensure machinery is safe and functional.
- Site Coordination: Follow site plans and dispatch instructions to move exact grades of earth or mineral ore to specific processing and dumping zones.
- Maintenance & Reporting: Monitor onboard gauges and dials, lubricate moving parts, perform minor on-site repairs, and report major mechanical defects to line managers
- English Proficiency / Can communicate in English
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Experience in the Mining Industry Required
- English Proficiency needed; Ability to cimmunicate in English
- Driver's License Restriction Code 8 / CE (heavy equipment) required
