Job Description
- Plan and execute construction of cabinets, shelves, partitions, and other carpentry works from layout to final finishing.
- Fabricate, repair, and replace doors, windows, flooring systems, ceiling materials, glass fittings, building hardware, screens, and plastic laminate works.
- Install, fit, and trim door frames and window frames to ensure smooth operation and professional finishing.
- Measure, assemble, and install pre-made or custom cabinets, shelving units, built-in furniture, bookcases, and decorative woodwork.
- Install railings, balusters, and newel posts for staircases.
- Construct and repair outdoor wooden structures including fences, gates, bleachers, and related equipment.
- Perform precise measuring, cutting, shaping, sanding, and finishing of wood, plastic, and fiberglass materials.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Install acoustic ceilings and gypsum ceiling systems using scaffolding and ladder
- Read and interpret drawings, sketches, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ensure all carpentry works are completed according to project quality and safety standards.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience in cabinet installation, wooden finishing, gypsum works, and custom carpentry is preferred.
- Previous experience in construction companies or interior finishing projects will be an added advantage
