Job Description
- Design, test, and update seasonal dessert menus, including pastries, cakes, tarts, and specialty confections.
- Oversee the preparation and beautiful plating of all baked goods, ensuring they meet the establishment’s quality standards.
- Monitor ingredient inventory, order supplies, and negotiate with food vendors to ensure a well-stocked pastry station within budget limits.
- Train, supervise, and mentor assistant bakers and junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all workstations, tools, and storage areas comply with strict food hygiene and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management; Hospitality/Tourism Management; Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
