Job Description
- Perform precision TIG welding for thin materials or clean finishes (stainless steel and aluminum) and heavy-duty MIG/MAG welding for thicker structural components (carbon steel)
- Interpret detailed engineering drawings, European technical documentation, and welding symbols to plan component layouts.
- Cut, clamp, grind, bevel, and tack-weld raw metal pieces into jigs or fixtures before final production
- Set up, calibrate parameters (amperage, gas flow, wire speed), and perform basic maintenance on welding machines
- Operate basic workshop equipment, including hand tools, grinders, and occasionally overhead cranes or forklifts to move heavy steel segments
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing various metal structures using gas metal arc welding (MIG/MAG - Process 135) and gas tungsten arc welding (TIG - Process 141).
- This role requires high precision, standard European technical literacy
