Job Description
- Quote, price, install and commission CCTV/Video Management systems
- Quote, price, install and commission Alarm/Security systems
- Quote, price, install and commission Access Control systems
- Quote, price, install and commission Automated Gates & Turnstiles
- Carry out test, fault finding and diagnosis of CCTV, EACS and Alarm system
- Be able to generate a report and quote from diagnostic test reports
- Ensure daily completion of jobs
- Ensuring that all work is accompanied by correctly completed documentation as laid down within the Electronics Area Procedure Manual or as directed by manager.
- Ensuring that each job is properly priced prior to processing by administration
- Ensuring that each job is prioritized as per direction from Area Manager.
- Ensuring parts for jobs are available prior to attending job site.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner at all times.
- Assist training team members, particularly apprentices
- Attend regular (minimum weekly) meetings with team members to ensure internal communications/ activities are at the highest level.
- Ensures company procedures and systems are understood and followed by staff members. Suggested improvement in procedures is welcome.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Demonstrated experience across all three disciplines: Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems (IP and Analog), Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS)
- Currently working “on the tools” (field installation and servicing role)
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently on-site
- With excellent communication skills. Must have a driver's license
