Job Description
- Patrolling: Security guards patrol the interior and exterior of a facility to assess for threats and ensure safety.
- Monitoring: Security guards monitor surveillance equipment, closed-circuit television, and alarms.
- Responding: Security guards respond to emergencies, threats, and reported incidents.
- Manage and authorize the entry and exit of people and vehicles, preventing trespassers and ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.
- Respond quickly to alarms, distress calls, and other emergencies, taking appropriate action to ensure safety.
- Strong observational skills to detect potential threats and maintain constant awareness.
- High ethical standards and honesty in performing duties.
- Ability to think critically and resolve issues calmly under pressure.
- Testing security systems and, if needed, operating X-ray machines and metal detectors Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner
- Performing CPR or first aid when needed
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, which usually needs to be attested.
- Ability to speak English is essential; Arabic skills are often preferred.
- Candidates must provide an updated CV, passport copy, attested education certificates, and a police clearance certificate.
- Ex-policemen and military personnel are highly accepted, and often preferred, to join security interviews
