Job Description
- Joining pipes, fittings, and vessels using TIG welding to meet strict code standards, such as ASME, often working on high-pressure piping systems.
- Strict compliance with safety protocols, wearing PPE (respirators, masks), and maintaining a clean work area, especially in potentially hazardous environments.
- Cutting, grinding, and fitting metal components; setting up TIG machines, torches, and shielding gases
- Visually inspecting welds and using measuring tools (calipers, fillet gauges) to check for cracks, porosity, or misalignment.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Interested applicants must possess at least 5 yrs ABROAD working experience in PLANT CONSTRUCTION (i.e. Oil and Gas, Refinery or Petrochemical).
- Applicant MUST possess WPQT certificate of 6G (GTAW+SMAW)
