Job Description
- erform functional tests, relay calibration, and injection testing (current/potential) to verify protection systems, including microprocessor-based relays.
- Identify and rectify functional deficiencies in electromechanical and solid-state systems.
- Produce detailed test reports, maintain documentation on testing processes, and verify installation against technical drawings (schematics, one-lines).
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams to adhere to safety protocols, schedules, and budgets.
- Inspect electrical installations prior to energization to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- • Experience in protection testing and electrical commissioning
- • Strong understanding of power systems, substations, and relay logic
- • Ability to read protection schematics and single line diagrams
- • High attention to detail and strong safety focus
- • Relevant electrical qualification and commissioning experience.
