Job Description
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid readiness, and conduct regular drills.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulations while promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards, enforce safe work practices (e.g., LOTO, confined space), and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; perform root cause analysis and maintain accurate reports and HSE KPIs (e.g., TRIR).
- Deliver HSE trainings and toolbox talks; ensure proper use of PPE and monitor workplace environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (BRC, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000), environmental regulations, and support audits, inspections, and certifications.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Environmental/Health/Safety) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or occupational health & safety, Environmental Science or any relevant science discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HSE function preferably in food industries.
- Certifications in NEBOSH, ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO22000, BRCGS will be considered as added value.
