Job Description
- Design and develop electrical power distribution systems, control systems, and instrumentation for oil and gas facilities.
- Prepare engineering deliverables including single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
- Specify and select electrical and instrumentation equipment such as transformers, switchgear, sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, API, ISA) and project specifications.
- Oversee installation, calibration, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of control systems, PLCs, DCS, and field instruments.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
- Support HAZOP, SIL studies, and safety system design (ESD, fire and gas systems).
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial plants.
- Proficiency in engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP).
