Job Description
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, control panels, motor control centers, wiring, sensors, and automation equipment used in food powder production. Diagnose electrical faults accurately and implement effect
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and start-up of new electrical equipment and automation systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, hygiene standards, and safety protocols specific to food processing.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, and spare parts used, ensuring traceability and compliance with GMP and food safety standards.
- Strictly follow electrical safety protocols, GMP, and hygiene procedures during all maintenance work. Report hazards or unsafe electrical conditions promptly to prevent contamination or accidents.
- Contribute to the development of electrical system improvements, automation initiatives, and process optimizations specific to food powder manufacturing.
- Maintain electrical tools and diagnostic equipment in good condition, ensuring calibration and proper storage. Support a clean and organized work environment.
- Work closely with other maintenance team members, production personnel, and supervisors to coordinate electrical work, minimize disruptions, and ensure product quality.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Technical certificate in Electrical Maintenance or a related field
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment, ideally in powder or bulk food production.
- Knowledge of electrical control systems, PLCs, VFDs, motor control, wiring, and automation in food processing plants
