Job Description
- Teach piano lessons to students of various and skill levels.
- Develop and implement structured lesson plans based on students’ abilities and learning goals.
- Instruct students in piano techniques, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills.
- Monitor and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, or music examinations when required.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Encourage students’ interest in music and help them build confidence in playing the piano.
- Coordinate with school staff or administration regarding student progress and activities.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of musical instruments and teaching materials.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Music/Performing Arts Studies or similar fields.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
- 1–2 years teaching experience and preparing students for Trinity/ABRSM or equivalent exams.
- Strong music theory knowledge; vocals/singing knowledge a plus.
- Positive, self-motivated, good interpersonal skills; able to teach primary and secondary students.
