Job Description
- Responsible for overseeing a team of buyers.
- Multi-faceted experience across the telecom, fashion and sportswear, and FMCG industries.
- Product selection: Researching and analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to decide which products to purchase.
- Supplier management: Sourcing potential vendors, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing.
- Inventory control: Monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand, and placing orders to maintain an optimal inventory without excess stock.
- Strategic planning: Developing and implementing buying strategies that align with the company's objectives, budget, and brand goals.
- Collaboration: Working with other teams, such as sales, marketing, and merchandising, to ensure promotions and product placement align with the buying strategy.
- Reporting: Preparing reports on purchasing activities and product performance to inform future decisions.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Business Studies/Administration/Management or similar fields.
- Experience across the telecom, fashion and sportswear, and FMCG industries.
- Analytical and numerical skills.
- Experience in Price management.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of customer needs.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
