C O M P A N Y  P R O F I L E Manila International Recruitment Services, Inc. (MIRSI) was incorporated on 21 January 1980 with Securities and Exchange Commission under Registration Certificate # 90775. Since 1980 MIRSI has been granted authority by  the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) / Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) with License # POEA-188-LB-102015-R, to engage and operate  as a private recruitment agency, with special authority to recruit and deploy entertainers abroad. It’s initial area of concentration was in the Middle East, deploying basically technical personnel, i.e., electronic and communication engineers and technicians, engineers of various  fields of specializations, computer engineers, programmers, operators and technicians, petro-chemical engineers and technicians, drillers,  heavy equipment operators as well as office professional, technical staff and medical personnel. In March 1988, it was able to obtain special authority to recruit and deploy entertainers abroad, and since then, the company has been continuously deploying Filipino performing artists in Japan, as well as in Europe. Starting 2011, it likewise deploys technical intern trainees to Japan under the Japan Technical Intern Training Program (JTITP) .
