Job Description
- Perform physical and chemical analyses on juice, including Brix (sugar content), pH, titratable acidity, viscosity, color, and flavor.
- Conduct sampling, plating, and data interpretation for ingredients and products to detect microorganisms.
- Monitor pasteurization, homogenization, and ingredient mixing to ensure they meet specifications, including proper sanitation (CIP/COP).
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and FSSC 22000 standards.
- Record data accurately in the Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS) or SAP, and report deviations to management.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment for accurate measurement.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- B.Sc. or HND in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Typically 2+ years of experience in a food/drink production environment, with specific experience in juice or dairy being a plus.
- Proficiency in lab equipment, understanding of food safety standards (ISO/GFSI), and basic computer literacy (SAP).
- Ability to work in a 3-shift pattern, handle 8-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment, and manage physical tasks like lifting or standing for long periods.
