Job Description
- Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service and product quality.
- Monitor inventory, manage costs, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of food and beverage staff. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with chefs and culinary staff to design innovative and seasonal menus that cater to diverse guest preferences while maintaining the resort’s culinary standards.
- Enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring that all food and beverage experiences exceed expectations. Address guest feedback effectively and implement improvements where necessary.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute banquets and special events. Work closely with the events team to develop tailored food and beverage packages that cater to various occasions and preferences.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the food and beverage department. Implement strategies to improve profitability and optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the resort’s food and beverage offerings through innovative campaigns, events, and social media engagement.
- Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage facilities to ensure adherence to cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager in a luxury hotel or resort setting or managing a standalone restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu development, inventory management, and banquet services.
- Budget management and financial acumen, with experience in cost control and profitability analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
