Job Description
- Read and interpret HVAC layout drawings, ducting shop drawings, and installation plans
- Fabricate, assemble, and install GI, MS, or aluminum duct systems.
- Install dampers, diffusers, grilles, access doors, volume control dampers (VCD), fire dampers, and other duct accessories
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions
- Perform duct alignment, leveling, and proper support installation (hangers, brackets, supports)
- Apply insulation materials and ensure proper sealing of joints to prevent air leakage
- Conduct inspection of installed ductwork to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
- Coordinate with HVAC technicians, supervisors, and other trades on-site
- Follow all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and site procedures
- Perform maintenance, repair, or modification of existing duct systems when required
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC duct installation works (commercial, industrial, or oil & gas projects preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC layout drawings and ducting plans.
- Knowledgeable in installation of GI ducts, insulation, dampers, and related accessories.
- Familiar with safety procedures and proper use of duct fabrication and installation tools.
