Job Description
- Layout and Fabrication: Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and engineering specifications. Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes (steel, stainless steel, alloy).
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform inspections to identify leaks, corrosion, or damage; remove, replace, or repair broken pipes and components.
- Welding and Joining: Join pipes using specialized techniques, including butt-welding, socket welding, or mechanical bolting/flanging
- Testing and Safety: Perform hydrostatic or pneumatic testing to verify integrity. Adhere to strict OSHA and site-specific health and safety protocols.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience in Carbon steel is a must /Able to read isometric drawings /Experience with carbon steel pipes, flanges, and valves
- Experience: Typically 3-5 years of experience in industrial piping, particularly in construction, maintenance, or oilfield operations.
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.
- Material Knowledge: Understanding of different pipe materials (steel, stainless steel, PVC) and pressure ratings for hazardous materials.
