Job Description
- Building up ceramic (porcelain) restorations, such as crowns, bridges, and veneers, using brushes and spatulas to match patient, dental, and aesthetic needs.
- Applying custom stains and glazes to match tooth color and texture, then using furnaces to fire and harden the ceramic.
- Creating full and partial dentures (metal and non-metal), flexible dentures, and overdentures.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Ability to perform patient assessments and provide comprehensive denture care.
Additional Information
- Building, shaping, and waxing up, using small hand instruments to form prosthetic teeth and artificial gums.
- Using software like 3Shape, Exocad, or Dental Wings to design crowns, bridges, and implants from digital impressions.
- Pouring dental stone or plaster into impressions to create accurate working casts.
