Job Description
- Shipment Management: Plan and track shipments, prepare bills of lading and invoices, and manage transportation schedules.
- Inventory & Warehousing: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with warehouse staff on receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
- Logistics Coordination: Act as a liaison between suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and comply with transportation, safety, and, for international roles, import/export regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve shipping delays, errors, and customer complaints promptly.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate records and updates within company software or logistics IT systems.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Business Studies/Administration/Management or similar fields.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business is preferred; however, a high school diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience is often accepted.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for negotiating with carriers and updating clients.
- Organizational Skills: High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Logistics IT systems, inventory management software, and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve logistical bottlenecks under pressure.
