Job Description
- Supervise daily aluminium fabrication operations in the workshop.
- Assign and manage tasks for fabricators, welders, and machine operators.
- Monitor and control production processes, ensuring accuracy to technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure optimal use of machines, cutting, punching, and assembly tools.
- Coordinate with site supervisors for the delivery and installation of fabricated units.
- Provide technical guidance for on-site assembly, fitting, and alignment of aluminium systems.
- Troubleshoot issues during installation; ensure alignment with architectural and structural requirements.
- Conduct inspections at each stage of fabrication to ensure adherence to Ihigh quality standards.
- Ensure all products meet architectural drawings, structural calculations, and finishing quality.
- Maintain detailed QC records; initiate corrective actions where needed.
- Train and supervise fabrication team (technicians, helpers, machine operators).
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline.
- Coordinate material planning, inventory checks, and procurement with the store team.
- Oversee maintenance of machinery and tools to minimize downtime.
- Recommend improvements in tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in aluminium fabrication & installation (minimum 2 years in a supervisory role) & preferably with Gulf experience.
- Expertise in aluminium systems such as Schüco, Reynaers, Technal, Gulf Extrusions, or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural & fabrication drawings.
- Familiarity with CNC fabrication machinery, AutoCAD, or ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Technical knowledge of aluminium profiles, curtain wall systems, partitions, glass fittings, and hardware.
- Ability to manage team workloads and project deadlines under pressure.
- Understanding of safety standards and workshop best practices.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
