Job Description
- Responsible for managing the Company accounts, following proper procedures and policies of the directors.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and statutory bodies.
- Prepare budgets, manage cashflow and monitor performance against budget.
- Costing and tracking of inventory.
- Ensure accurate records and data entry of stock movement, cash sales and other performance data.
- Conduct regular audits for all departments.
- Train national accounts staff to a high proffessional standard in all sections - payroll, accounts receivable, payable, audit.
- Prepare periodic financial statements in accordance with recognized accounting standards.
- Maintain asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Regular audits of costs, income and operational costs for each department and branch of the company.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Prof'l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof'l License Exam) holder.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in inventory accounting in retail and distribution of FMCG. Experienced in management information systems such as Oracle, Peachtree, Quickbooks, etc
- Degree or other qualification in accounting with active CPA registration
- Good communication skills . Able to train up staff and enforce company rules and regulations.
- Well organized and active attitude.
