Job Description
- Supervising and mentoring junior sheet metal workers, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards.
- Managing sheet metal projects from start to finish, including planning, material procurement, and quality control.
- Shaping, forming, and joining sheet metal using various techniques like welding, soldering, and riveting.
- Installing sheet metal products in buildings, including ductwork, roofing, and other structural components.
- Assessing and repairing damaged or faulty sheet metal products, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
- Reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and specifications.
- Choosing the appropriate sheet metal (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, copper) based on project requirements.
- Inspecting and ensuring that all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
- Ensuring a safe working environment for themselves and others, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a SENIOR SHEETMETAL WORKER (STAINLESS STEEL)
- Expertise in cutting, shaping, forming, and joining sheet metal using various tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in welding, soldering, and other joining methods.
- Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues during fabrication and installation.
- Ensuring precision and accuracy in all work.
- Understanding the properties and applications of different sheet metals.
- Good ENGLISH communication and interpersonal skills.
