Job Description
- Lead and perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of Fire & Life Safety electrical systems
- Inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm control panels, detection devices, notification systems, and interfaces
- Conduct testing and commissioning of new or modified FLS systems in compliance with QCD and NFPA standards
- Supervise and guide junior FLS and electrical technicians
- Ensure all FLS systems are operational and compliant at all times
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, test reports, and compliance documentation
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Technical/Vocational Diploma in Electrical Technology, Electronics, Fire & Life Safety Systems, or related field
- With minimum 5 years experience in Fire & Life Safety (FLS) electrical systems, at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems (addressable & conventional)
- Experienced in fire detection devices: smoke detectors, heat detectors, MCP, sounders, strobes
- Familiar with fire fighting systems interfaces (sprinkler, fire pump, gas suppression)
- Able to read and interpret FLS drawings, schematics, and cause & effect matrices
- WITH PIC (Person-in-Charge) Training
