Job Description
- Lead and perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of FLS mechanical systems
- Inspect, test, and maintain sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, fire pumps, and valves
- Conduct flow tests, pressure tests, and pump testing in accordance with NFPA and QCD requirements
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and ensure timely rectification
- Supervise and guide junior FLS mechanical technicians
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- With minimum 5 years experience in Fire & Life Safety (FLS) mechanical systems, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
- Strong knowledge of fire fighting systems: Sprinkler systems Fire hose reels and hydrant systems Fire pumps (jockey, main, diesel) Valves, piping, and fittings
- Able to read and interpret FLS mechanical drawings, layouts, and method statements
- PIC (Person-in-Charge) training or supervisory training is an advantage
