Job Description
- Prepare, bake, and garnish a wide range of pastries, cakes, bread, and plated desserts, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Lead the pastry section, managing daily mise-en-place, and maintaining high hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Train, support, and supervise junior staff, including Commis Chefs.
- Monitor stock levels, handle ingredient ordering, and minimize waste to control food costs.
- Collaborate on creating new, seasonal, or innovative dessert menus.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Hospitality/Tourism Management or similar fields.
- • Minimum of 2 year of work experience in the Food and Beverage industry or any related field
- • Good communication skills are must
- • Diploma or relevant training certificate is an advantage
