Job Description
- Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees; pruning and trimming; weeding and mulching; and keeping lawns mowed and edged.
- Watering and irrigating plants, fertilizing soil, and monitoring and treating for pests and diseases.
- Operating and maintaining various gardening tools and machinery like lawnmowers and hedge trimmers.
- Clearing walkways and garden areas of debris, litter, and fallen leaves.
- Assisting with garden design and installing features like plant beds and walkways.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- With good communication skills
- Must be able to lift heavy items , work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform repetitive tasks like walking, bending, and squatting.
- A strong understanding of plants, including their needs for sunlight, water, and soil, is crucial.
- Being able to identify a wide range of plant species is a key skill.
- Experience with both manual and powered gardening tools like mowers, trimmers, and tillers is often required.
- Knowledge of herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers and their proper and safe use is necessary.
