Job Description
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees
- Determine staffing levels and assign workload
- Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a bakery or food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of stock control, ordering, and inventory tracking systems.
- Experience with managing perishable ingredients and ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Ability to monitor supply usage, reduces waste, and implements cost-effective inventory solutions
- Familiarity with supplier coordination, order placement, and receiving procedures.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper storage methods.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Excel for reporting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate stock records.
