Job Description
- Construction, maintenance, and repair of 11kV–33kV overhead lines
- Installation and replacement of poles, crossarms, hardware, conductors, and insulators.
- Fault finding and restoration across the HV and LV network.
- Experience with 11kV/22kV networks preferred.
- Operate EWP, bucket trucks, cranes, and line tools as required
- Ensure all work is carried out under Horizon’s safety and compliance standards
- Work on planned outages, network upgrades, and new connections
- Switching support (advantage) and Fault response
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Must have at least 6-8 years of Line Mechanic / Lineman experience in HV overhead distribution.
Additional Information
- English communication skills suitable for technical work
- Comfortable working at heights and with heavy physical tasks
- Ability to drive Trucks
