Job Description
- Supervise daily conveyor operations to ensure efficient material flow and production output.
- Lead and coordinate a team of conveyor operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
- Monitor conveyor performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
- Ensure all conveyor systems are maintained according to schedule and in compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with the maintenance department.
- Inspect equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning and compliance with operational standards.
- Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and production performance.
- Train and guide employees on conveyor operation, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Recommend improvements in conveyor design, operation, or layout to enhance productivity.
- Communicate effectively with management, production, and engineering teams regarding conveyor issues and production targets.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Must have extensive experience in mining and heavy industry.
- With proven background in conveyor belt servicing, repair, and maintenance, with at least 15 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train, guide, and motivate teams effectively.
- Certified by ALMEX Training or a similar recognized institution.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and thorough knowledge of conveyor tools, equipment, and splicing techniques.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
