Job Description
- Prepares, installs, repair and finishes various flooring materials like wood, tile, carpet and epoxy as well ass installing and fitting coverings.
- Measuring, cutting, and installing floor coverings such as carpet, linoleum, and tile, as well as repairing damaged flooring.
- Sanding wood floors to achieve a smooth surface, applying stain, filler, and sealant, and then polishing to a high-quality finish.
- Using hand tools to spread glue and other adhesives, ensuring excess material is removed before finishing.
- Operating and maintaining various tools and machinery, including sanders and edgers, to smooth and finish floors.
- Inspecting finished floors for smoothness and overall aesthetic, ensuring they meet specifications.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Educational Attainment should have at lease minimum of 1 full year additional vocational course or taken IELTS with band score of 5.0
