Job Description
- Repair, overhaul and replace mechanical components including engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, and exhausts
- Provide safe and high-quality workmanship in line with Australian workplace safety standards.
- Advise clients or supervisors on repair needs, parts requirements, and estimated costs.
- Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, etc.).
- Inspect and diagnose faults in diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains and associated systems.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Proven experience as a diesel motor mechanic (e.g., 2–5+ years)
- Experience with heavy vehicles, trucks, earth-moving equipment or agricultural machinery is a plus
