Job Description
- Assist in managing daily butchery operations
- Perform and supervise meat cutting, trimming, and portioning
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Supervise butchery staff and assist in scheduling
- Monitor inventory, stock rotation, and storage conditions
- Coordinate with suppliers and management on meat requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and proper use of tools and equipment
- Assist in preparing operational and inventory reports
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Vocational training or equivalent experience in butchery or meat processing
- Experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting, processing, and handling techniques
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Ability to supervise and train butchery staff
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Physically fit and willing to work overseas
- Willing to assist in hands-on butchery work as needed
