Job Description
- Accurately fit and install various glass types (tempered, laminated, decorative) into aluminum frames for windows, doors, shower enclosures, partitions, skylights, and balustrades.
- Cutting & Shaping: Measure, mark, cut, bevel, and shape glass to exact specifications using hand tools and machinery (like cutters, saws).
- Fabrication Support: Assist with preparing frames, drilling, polishing, and ensuring all components match project designs.
- Quality Control: Inspect work for precision, fit, finish, and ensure adherence to design, safety, and building codes.
- Material Handling: Safely lift, move, and secure heavy glass panels and materials
- Site Work: Work on-site in diverse environments (high-rise, residential), following blueprints and collaborating with other trades.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Additional Information
- Experience: Proven experience as a glazier, glass fixer, or aluminum/glass worker, ideally with a portfolio of finished work
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using glass cutters, sealants, power tools, and potentially CNC machines, plus reading technical drawings
