Job Description
- installs & assembles new machinery according to technical specs and blueprints, often using cranes and hoists.
- Aligns machines using specialized tools to ensure machinery is perfectly level and calibrated.
- Operating cranes, hoists, and forklifts to transport massive equipment safely.
- Troubleshoots & Repairs mechanical malfunctions and replacing defective parts like bearings, seals, or gears.
- Fabricates by using welding, brazing, and machine tools (lathes, grinders) to create or modify custom parts.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Must be ex-abroad, preferably ex- Africa.
- Technical knowledge & mastery of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems; basic electrical knowledge.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and schematics/blueprints.
