Job Description
- Review projects specifications, plans, and drawings to understand project requirements, scope and timelines
- Analyze project costs, including material costs, labor hours, subcontractor costs, equipment expenses, transportation, and overheads
- Utilize estimating software and tools to calculate accurate and competitive project costs
- Prepare comprehensive and detailed cost estimates, ensuring alignment with project specifications and contractual requirements
- Develop project schedules and Gantt charts in coordination with planning and operations teams.
- Assist in developing and managing project budgets, ensuring cost estimates align with project profitability targets.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of estimation activities, cost breakdowns, assumptions, and pricing details.
- Research and analyze current market prices for materials, equipment rentals, and subcontractor services.
- Evaluate vendor and supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Conduct risk assessments and evaluations for each project, identifying potential risks, challenges, and mitigation strategies
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
