Job Description
- CAN undertake work in a safe manner and ensure team of auto electricians daily activities are in compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- CAN transport cargo using Forklift trucks/ Pay loader in a safe and careful manner within shed, yard and quayside.
- To ensure Forklift truck / Pay loader are always in good condition and report any faults or damages immediately to the supervisor.
- CAN check equipment before operating thus always following Port safety procedures and handle empty and loaded containers for loading and discharging in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Prior to operating machinery ensure the respective area is clear of pedestrians or obstacles for safety purposes.
- To take special care when handling containers containing dangerous cargo in compliance with the safety procedures.
- To ensure mechanical / electrical defects to the allotted machinery is rectified to avoid wastage in time and cost
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
