Job Description
- Operate and maintain a variety of manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drills.
- Fabricate, repair, and assemble components to precise specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Perform fitting, alignment, and assembly of mechanical parts and systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure functionality and performance.
- Overhaul and repair equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Identify and replace worn or damaged parts.
- Adhere to stringent quality control standards throughout all machining and fitting activities.
- Perform dimensional checks using precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Others); Others or similar fields.
- 7+ years of experience in machining, fitting, and assembly, with a focus on precision engineering.
- With trade Qualifications – Fitter & Turner, Machinist
- Strong background in using both manual and CNC machinery. In particular 4 axis horizontal lathe, 4 axis vertical machine center and Fanuc Controllers
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and using CAD/CAM software (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of materials, machining techniques, and mechanical systems.
- Skilled in the use of precision measurement instruments.
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be at least a graduate of 1-year vocational course or Completed at least 1 year in college.
- Knowledge of Occupational, Health and Welfare Act and application to the workplace
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
