Job Description
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex automotive electrical and electronic systems for European and Japanese vehicles.
- Interpret and analyze electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts to identify faults and ensure correct repairs.
- Perform advanced diagnostics using ECU diagnostic tools (e.g., Bosch KTS 560 or similar), including system testing beyond error scanning.
- Repair or replace wiring, sensors, control modules, and other electrical components, ensuring proper system integration.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 15 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Good command of English – ability to communicate fluently, explain vehicle problems, and clearly describe repair solutions to colleagues and clients
- Minimum 15 years of experience as an auto mechanic including minumum 10 years experience as auto electrician
- International work experience with European and Japanese vehicles:
- At least 5 years of experience working abroad as auto electrician with European brands (like VW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Peugeot, ) and Japanese brands (Toyota), OR
- At least 10 years of experience as a Senior auto electrician in an authorized dealer service center working with multiple brands (VW, MB, Audi, Toyota)
- At least 5 years of experience with European/Japan car brands in diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle electrical systems, including identifying and fixing wiring issues, replacing damaged components, and system adjustments
- At least 10 years of experience working with electrical schematics – ability to interpret wiring diagrams and understand how various components interact with each other
- Experience with ECU Diagnostic Tools (e.g., Bosch KTS 560 or similar equipment) – error scanning alone is insufficient
- Solid knowledge of automotive electrical systems
- Proficiency in using various diagnostic and measuring tools (multimeters and other specialized tools for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems)
- Knowledge of ECU reprogramming and coding for new components
- Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles (Tesla, VW, Audi, Mercedes, BYD) will be considered as bonus
- Wilingness and motivation to work hard to earn good salary
