Job Description
- With 5 years work experience as a Sr. Cook in Hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes; ensuring health, hygiene and safety standards are adhered to; and making sure utensils and work areas are clean and ready for the next shift.
- Expected to support the development of the cooks and the assistant cooks. Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes using ovens, grills, boilers, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
- Adhere to meals number and make sure that the material quantities match the required number of meals. Comply with agreed portion size, cooking methods.
- Packing and loading of food in the containers and properly store them in the hot holdings. Carry out different cleaning tasks to maintain work area in a clean condition for the next shift.
- Promptly reports equipment and food quality issues to the sous chef. Support cooks and assistant cooks’ development
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management; Hospitality/Tourism Management; Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Candidates must have Diploma or Tesda Certificate related to the position applied.
