Job Description
- Planned and coordinated all stages of window and glass manufacturing, managing production schedules, overseeing fabrication processes, monitoring workflow for timely delivery, and ensuring efficient material usage with minimal waste.
- Ensured finished products met company and industry standards (including AS 2047), conducted quality inspections, maintained quality documentation, addressed defects promptly, and collaborated with design and engineering teams to resolve technical iss
- Supervised production staff and technicians, assigned duties, monitored performance, conducted regular training on safety and quality procedures, and promoted teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensured regular maintenance of machinery and equipment, implemented preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, and optimized factory layout for efficient, safe workflow.
- Enforced WHS/OHS policies, conducted safety inductions and inspections, and ensured compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe workplace.
- Oversee procurement and inventory of glass, aluminum, hardware, and consumables. Monitor stock levels and reorder materials in line with production needs. Work with suppliers to ensure material quality and timely delivery.
- Prepare production and performance reports for management. Communicate effectively with project managers, sales teams, and logistics. Contribute to strategic planning, cost control, and process improvement initiatives.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Civil) or similar fields.
- Trade qualification or degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or similar field.
- Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in glass and aluminum window manufacturing.
- Proven leadership experience managing factory operations and production teams.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, cutting equipment, and glazing systems.
- Proficiency in production software and scheduling tools (e.g., ERP, AutoCAD).
