Job Description
- Develop and implement detailed construction programs and schedules. Coordinate design and construction activities between consultants, engineers, and contractors. Review and approve project plans, shop drawings, and construction documents.
- Led daily operations for high-rise construction projects, supervising site staff and subcontractors, conducting regular inspections to ensure safety, quality, and progress, and resolving on-site technical and logistical issues efficiently.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor cost performance and implement corrective measures where necessary. Approve variations, progress claims, and contractor payments.
- Enforce company and statutory WHS/OHS policies and procedures. Ensure site safety audits and risk assessments are completed regularly. Maintain compliance with building codes, permits, and local regulations.
- Oversee implementation of quality control processes and inspections. Ensure all construction meets architectural and engineering specifications. Manage defect rectification and handover processes.
- Communicate progress, issues, and milestones to senior management and clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, suppliers, and authorities. Represent the company at site meetings and progress reviews.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Civil) or similar fields.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in large-scale commercial or high-rise construction.
- Proven track record managing high-rise projects (20+ storeys) through all phases.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
