Job Description
- Operating specialized equipment such as Tape Edge machines (sewing the perimeter tape that holds the mattress together), Quilting machines, or Foam Cutters.
- Cutting fabrics and padding to specific dimensions based on the mattress size (Twin, Queen, King).
- Using industrial bagging machines to seal mattresses in plastic and applying law tags and branding labels.
- hecking for structural defects, loose threads, or uneven layers before the product moves to the next station.
- Precision is critical; even a small misalignment in the tape edge can ruin the entire product.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Must be competent in assisting in various stages of mattress production, including cutting, assembling, and packing.
- Must be competent in preparing materials such as foam, fabric, springs, and accessories for production.
- Must be competent in loading and unloading materials onto workstations or machines.
- Must be able to provide support to machine operators by supplying materials and removing finished products.
- Must be competent in providing assistance in the assembly of mattress layers, covers and internal components.
- Must be competent in inspecting materials & components for defects prior to use.
- Must be physically fit to move finished mattresses to storage or shipping areas.
- Must be able to perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning machines & tools.
