Job Description
- INTERPRET AND FOLLOW SYSTEM AND ELECTRICAL SHOP DRAWINGS AND SINGLE LINE DIAGRAMS (SLD)
- INSTALL WIRE AND TEST DISTRIBUTION PANELS, ENSURING CORRECT CIRCUIT CONNECTORS AND PROTECTION
- CONNECT EQUIPMENT RACKS TO UPS, STS OR MAIN POWER SOURCE AS PER SYSTEM DESIGN
- ROUTE, DRESS, AND TERMINATE POWER CABLES USING APPROPRITE TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES
- INSTALL AND EARTHING AND GROUNDING SYSTEMS FOR EQUIPMENT RACKS AD OUTDOOR INSTALLATIONS
- BOND METALLIC STRUCTURES SUCH AS ANTENNAS, TOWERS, PATCH PANELS AND SHELTERS TO THE SITE EARTHB GRID
- TERMINATE POWER CABLES USING LUGS, BREAKERS, AND CONNECTORS, ENSURING SECURE AND SAFE CONNECTIONS
- INSTALL ELECTRICAL CONDUITS, TRUNCKING AND CABLE TRAYS TO SUPPORT POWER CONTROL WIRING
- PERFORM ELECTRICAL TESTING AND CONTINUITY CHECKS AS REQUIRED FOR COMMISSIONING
- ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH ELECTRICAL STANDARDS, PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS AND SITE PROCEDURES
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- diploma or trade certificate or equivalent qualification in electrical Installation
- proven hands on experience in electrical installation, cabling, and panel work
- strong understanding of SLDS power distribution systems, grounding, and protection systems
- familiar with UPS, STS and surge protection protection systems
