Job Description
- Teaching staff about customer service techniques, sales strategies, product knowledge, and company policies. Ensure that employees are well-prepared to deliver exceptional service, meet sales targets, and maintain operational standards.
- Designing and implementing training programs tailored to the needs of retail employees, from new hires to experienced staff.
- Delivering in-person and virtual training sessions on topics such as customer service, product knowledge, sales techniques, and store policies.
- Conducting regular evaluations of training programs to assess effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Collaborating with store management to identify training gaps and develop customized learning solutions.
- Monitoring employee progress and providing feedback to improve performance.
- Coaching employees on improving customer engagement, communication skills, and sales techniques.
- Ensuring that all training materials are up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Tracking training completion and assessing skill acquisition to ensure training goals are met
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Education/Teaching/Training; Finance/Accountancy/Banking; Human Resource Management; Sales & Marketing or similar fields.
- Proven experience as corporate trainer or similar role
- Good understanding of various teaching methodologies and tools
- Proficient in MS Office especially (Powerpoint)
- Experience with an e-learning software is an asset
- Good time-management skills. Ability to multi-task.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical-thinker and problem-solver
- BSc/BA in business, HR, finance or relevant field
- Certification (e.g. CPLP) is a big plus
- Minimum of 2 years experience in retail staff training.
