Job Description
- Prepare and process general ledger journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and bank accounts on a regular basis.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling cashflow projections in coordination with the Financial Controller.
- Perform and reconcile inventory and stock movements across multiple sites.
- Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining accurate product costing records, including updates to BOMs and overhead allocation.
- Support monthly payroll processing, including reconciliations and allocations.
- Collaborate with HR to prepare year-end figures.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure depreciation is correctly posted.
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with other tax compliance reporting.
- Provide cost and transactional data to support the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Assist in capex tracking, expense analysis, and providing financial data for decision-making.
- Support regulatory and audit requirements and respond to queries from internal and external auditors.
- Assist with the documentation and improvement of internal processes and controls.
- Liaise with operations and supply chain teams to gather relevant cost data and help ensure finance is aligned with production activities including monitoring yield, margins and waste.
- Prepare analysis for capex, operational projects, and ROI assessments.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or similar fields.
- ERP Systems and Advance Excel Skills (Pivot tables, Lookups, Data modeling)
- Strong understanding of standard costing and inventory valuation methods
- CPA/CA qualified (or in progress)
