Job Description
- With experience as Furnace Operator in factory/Manufacturing in furnace section.
- Ensure continuous flow to the holding furnace and then to the casting. Inspection of furnace area equipment’s for its smooth operation.
- Ensure proper operations of burners. ESPECIALLY SHAFT FURNACE BURNERS MUST INSPECT THE BURNERS AT REGULAR INTERVALS (AT EVERY 15 MINUTES) TO ENSURE NO MOLTEN COPPER BATH IS PRESENT IN FRONT OF BURNERS.
- INSPECTION OF TOP-HOLE FOR ANY BLOCKAGE FOR FREE EXIT OF MOLTEN COPPER FORM SHAFT FURNACE.
- Required slagging of holding furnace to ensure good quality molten copper. Inspection & records of machine & equipment’s for any deviations.
- During production ensure maximum copper level in the Tundish by making proper setting of auto tilting system. If auto tilting system is not working advised to do manual tilting.
- Ability to control process parameters, operate machines, solve problems, and deal with sub-ordinates and staff technicians.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
